About me

I have been designing and making jewellery for over 35 years and am delighted to have won several awards (listed below).
have trained across the UK, including a Degree in Metalwork and Jewellery from Sheffield Hallam University, and also trained in USA and Italy.
My rippled work has been my signature style since 2006. I feel it lends itself well to the beautiful and complex structure of ammonites which are the main source of inspiration to my work.
Other coastal fossils, sea urchins and shells inform my designs along with the reflections of the sea. My pieces are tactile, strong and designed to catch the light when worn or displayed.

 A few personal favourites....

Mary Anning 1799-1847 - one of the greatest fossil hunters of all time.

She found them, studied, sketched and sold them but was largely unrecognised for her incredible work during her lifetime.

This beautiful bronze statue of her is in Lyme Regis - its a wonderful work of art and I couldn't resist showing her a few pieces.
